Brain Salem has been selling Real Estate for over 20 years. In my interview with him, he shares how he got started right out of college in 2002, how he grew his business and his team throughout multiple market changes , and how he has learned over the years to truly thrive and find balance in an ever changing industry. He also has so many great sayings that you wont forget, Including , “Get up, Dress Up, & Show Up!” “Understand your Purpose, Passion & Why,” “Follow Up, Follow Back, & Follow Through”!

    • Don't make your business transactional. Its all about your clients experience. Strive to make it the BEST.

    • You have a Huge responsibility to your clients.

    • Showing up today is a lot different today than it was 20 years ago.

  • Brians Advice to Agents: Two Part Answer:

    • 1. You must understand your Purpose, Passion, and Why, and revisit that every year!

    • 2. Get up, Dress Up, Show Up Mantra! (With a Purpose and Intention - Be Fully Present)

    • Brian has created a balanced Lifestyle focused on his 3 Pillars: Excercise , Work, & Fun

      • Excercise

        • Movement / Excercise Every Day

        • Work on meditation and your mindset

        • Buying a Peloton and an Apple Watch helped him to create movement habits. (Closed his Rings every day for 2 1/2 years.) -

        • Drink Lots of Water… I said to buy a Stanley Cup !

      • Work

        • Get into a routine,

        • get up at the same time,

        • He gets into the office every day at 8:15 Monday -Friday

        • Follow Up, Follow Back, Follow Through !

        • Control your schedule -Technology helps you streamline and make you more efficent so you don't have to work 80 hours a week. Look at the week on Sunday, plan workouts, and block your schedule -Looks at the day the night before to get in the mindset for the next day

        • Prospecting is a habit, everything is a habit you must develop

      • Family

        • Loves spending time with his Family on the Lake and Boating,

        • Its a great way to creates memories for his family and reset.

        • Find your why, and know what your doing this for. If not, you'll just survive you definately will not thrive.

          **Always Remember: None of this happens overnight, its all a practice and an evolution!!!
