Take Action: Five Things To Do Now!

I recently did a couple of videos focused on not taking your foot off the gas as we round into the 4th quarter.   In this quick 15 minute video I share with you 5 ways for you to get into action today! I even have some bonus materials I will send you for additional help! I hope you enjoy this one! Now get to it… 

1.Check your mindset! 

  • What are your negative thoughts around lead gen? 

    • It’s hard work, it’s uncomfortable, I shouldn’t have to ask

  • Reframe those… 

    • It's your business

    • It's just relationship building

    • I’m helping people and contributing to others.

2. Make a plan 

  • What are the 2-3 activities that you intend to do that will generate 40-50 conversations this week. (that's only conversations 10 per day)

3. Commit to a daily habit

  • Block 3 hours every workday on lead gen and lead follow up 

    • No skipping 

    • No interruptions 

    • No excuses! (especially current business) 

4. Become a market expert 

  • Study the market

  • Know your numbers

  •  practice what to say

5. Build your sphere/database

  • Sphere = People who already know, like and trust you. 

  • Who do I already know who isn’t in my database?

  • Call the people in your database using the FORD Method (Friends, Occupation, Recreation, Dreams) 

  • Make Care Calls  (care, compassion, contribution, common sense)

  • Continue to Add people to your database weekly
